Welcome to our very first charitable collaboration collection. The Giving Back collection is something that we have been working on behind the scenes for quite a while now. We have been looking for the perfect charity partners that we could donate a percentage of our profits to. Our founder Corinne has worked within the arts for many years, and she has always enjoyed the outreach, community based work that she has been involved in. Corinne has been looking for ways in which she could incorporate this into Powder Butterfly. And this first collaboration is just the start of this new initiative.
25% of all profits from the ‘New Day’ print will go to the charity Combat Stress. Combat Stress supports servicemen and women with their mental health needs and they also deliver Art Therapy as part of their services. The images below are of one of their service users accessing their art therapy sessions in a beautiful lavender field. These images inspired Corinne to create the ’New Day’ Giclee print. The print itself was meant to symbolise the hope of a new day, the tree in the distance represents the individual who is growing as part of their journey, the sunrise/sunset is symbolic of a new day dawning or another day coming to a close. Ultimately the artwork was created to be a celebration of the work that Combat Stress do everyday, and through your purchase you will help them to continue to help servicemen and women with their mental health recovery.
